The theories are still flowing. After one photo debacle, another has emerged. The new theory keeping netizens up is if Prince William and Kate Middleton’s car photo was edited.
On March 11, 2024, Prince William and Kate Middleton were photographed in the back of a car in photos obtained by Daily Mail. Fans quickly noticed inconsistencies with the photo lighting and even alleged that the person next to William was not Kate at all.
However, the agency that took the photos has wiped away the rumors. Goff Photos told E! News that the images “have been cropped and lightened,” but they were not “doctored.” It is the second time that Kate Middleton was spotted in public after her surgery.
The paparazzi photo is just another photo on the stack of alleged evidence of Kate Middleton’s conspiracy theories. On Mother’s Day, the Princess of Wales posted a photo that raised some eyebrows. The photo marks Kate Middleton‘s first photo since her abdominal surgery in January 2024. It features Kate in the middle while hugging and embracing her three kids, Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte. “Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months,” Kate Middleton wrote in the caption. “Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day. C”
Many eagle-eyed fans saw the edits on the photo such as Prince Louis’ fingers and around Princess Charlotte’s dress. Kate Middleton issued an apology on social media for the mistakes. “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C,” she wrote on X.
Kensington Palace announced that Kate Middleton had a “planned abdominal surgery” at The London Clinic on January 16, 2024. “The surgery was successful, and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery,” the statement said. “Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.”
“The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate. She hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible; and her wish that her personal medical information remains private,” the statement continued. “Kensington Palace will, therefore, only provide updates on Her Royal Highness’ progress when there is significant new information to share.”
“The Princess of Wales wishes to apologise to all those concerned for the fact that she has to postpone her upcoming engagements. She looks forward to reinstating as many as possible, as soon as possible,” they added.
