DAVE BAUTISTA looked unrecognizable on the red carpet alongside co-star Sofia Boutella.
The WWE legend-turned actor stunned fans over the weekend as he showed off his incredible body transformation at the Toronto Film Festival.
During his days in the ring, Bautista weighed in at around 290lbs (21st) and his heaviest was a staggering 370lbs (26st).
But the 55-year-old has worked off his ripped physique and now comes in at 240lbs (17st).
The weight loss is all for his latest role in the film The Killer’s Game.
And last night he caught the eye on the red carpet, attending a special screening of the film in Los Angeles.
His starred alongside his stunning co-stars Boutella and Terry Crews at Regal LA Live.
Bautista began with his body transformation two years ago when finished working on the film Knock On The Cabin.
The actor, who is best known for his role in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy lifted the lid on his jaw-dropping new look.
Bautista told Chris Van Vliet: “I’m getting super trimmed, this is probably the lightest I’ve been since I was 19-years-old.
“The heaviest I’ve ever been is 370lbs (26st). When I started Deacon, I was about 325lbs (23st).
“Throughout most of my wrestling career I was about 290lbs (21st). Now I’m about 240lbs (17st).
“And I went a year and a half ago for Knock at the Cabin, I went 315lbs (23st). And that’s when the nightmare started.
“Getting that weight off has been a challenge. Now I’m really particular about my diet.”
Bautista’s new lifestyle
It is not just his new look that makes Dave Bautista unrecognizable – it is his new lifestyle too.
The WWE star weighed in at 370lbs (26st) many years ago – but since becoming an full-time actor, he has cut down to 240lbs (17st).
He has been praised for his roles in The Guardians of the Galaxy, James Bond’s Spectre and Dune: Part Two.
Away from the ring and the big screen, Bautista has investments in fitness and nutrition companies as well as real estate.
His net worth comes in at a whopping $20m (£15.3m).
On his lifestyle, Bautista told GQ: “Honestly, I couldn’t give a f*** about being a movie star. I don’t live a great big glamorous life.
“I live in Tampa, Florida. I don’t care about the spotlight or the fame. I just want to be a better actor. I want respect from my peers. I don’t need accolades.
“It’s about the experience, about knowing that I accomplished something.”
