Marlon Wayans isn’t holding back his thoughts on Elon Musk’s public remarks about his transgender daughter, Vivian Wilson.

“I have a Tesla that I’m about to drive over a cliff, cuz I don’t like what he be saying about his trans child,” the 52-year-old White Chicks actor explained in the Tuesday, September 10 episode of the Club Shay Shay podcast. “It made me mad. You don’t treat them babies like that, you don’t disown your baby.”

Laughing, Wayons looked directly at the camera as if he was talking to the billionaire himself and said, “Your sperm weird, that ain’t their fault. Elon, your sperm weird, it’s okay to have weird sperm — I got it too, man! Sh*t! Love your child!”

The Hollywood icon went on to emphasize the need for parental support for trans children. “I’m sad to say some parents, some family members, and some people it’ll take them a lifetime,” he expressed. “They’ll never get to that magical place that I’m at which is just acceptance. Still my child. That’s my baby.”

Wayans continued the conversation by discussing his own experience with his 24-year-old son Kai Wayans’ transition, saying he was “the last to know,” which was hard on him. “But as hard as it was, I think that it’s not important. It’s important what you went through; the five steps of grief, but I think it’s important that you get to acceptance. And I’m proud to say it took me a week. And it felt like forever,” the Scary Movie star said.

For those out of the loop, Wilson, who took the surname of her mother, Justine Wilson, came out as trans in 2022 and publicly distanced herself from her dad after his unsupportive remarks about her identity. The SpaceX founder’s comments included stating that his 20-year-old queer child was “not a girl” and that she had been “killed [by the] woke-mind virus.”

On Thursday, September 5, Wilson took to Threads in response to these claims, pointing out that the family’s patriarch “just won’t stop lying about me in interviews, books, social media, etc.” She’s often expressed her disdain, once quipping she looked “pretty good for a dead b*tch.”
