WATCH: BLACKPINK’s Rose collaborates with Bruno Mars on new song APT

BLACKPINK’s Rose and Bruno Mars collaborate on the former’s new track, APT. The fun song has been released as a part of Rose’s new album, titled Rosie. It is a catchy and upbeat song, that gives a quirky nod to Rose’s favourite Korean drinking game, called Apartment.

Previously, Rose and Bruno Mars had teased the collaboration with a monochrome photo. “So this was me hanging on for dear life after @roses_are_rosie introduced me to this Korean drinking game and got me saucy. Soon after, she tried to kiss me, and I was like “woah Rosie! what part of the game is this?” She was like, “I ain’t playin games wit you anymore lil boy! Big Rosie bout that BIDNESS!” Shaken, I replied “stop Rosie, I’m scared!” But other than that, super chill night.,” Bruno Mars’ caption stated. Rose commented, “what’s wrong with uuuu,” making fans wonder more about the photo.

In the music video, Rose and Bruno Mars are seen having fun, while singing the entertaining lyrics. A part of the lyrics reads, “Don’t you want me like I want you, baby? / Don’t you need me like I need you now? / Sleep tomorrow, but tonight, go crazy / All you gotta do is just meet me at the / APT.”

Interestingly, this is Rose’s first song release, ever since the BLACKPINK members decided to discontinue with their previous label. While Rose stayed with the label, Lisa, Jennie, and Jisoo decided to part ways.
