Aamir Khan recently shared his thoughts on his son Junaid Khan’s debut in Maharaj. Despite Junaid’s strong performance, Aamir admitted he was initially unsure about his son’s acting abilities. In a candid conversation with Rhea Chakraborty on her podcast, Aamir expressed his concerns, explaining that Junaid’s shy nature made him doubt whether he would be a good actor.
Aamir revealed that he warned Junaid about the inevitable comparisons with him, saying, “When your first film comes out, you will be compared to me. The tag of being ‘Aamir Khan’s son’ will never leave you, and you’ll have to bear that burden.” He also admitted that he was worried as a father, cautioning Junaid that if he wasn’t a good actor, he wouldn’t be able to help him in the industry.
However, after Junaid’s debut, Aamir feels relieved and proud, noting that Junaid has shown great promise in his first film. The superstar also praised Junaid for carrying on his legacy with dedication and talent.
