The makers of the popular superhero film franchise Venom are gearing up for the third instalment titled Venom: The Last Dance. The announcement was accompanied by a shift in the movie’s release date, which is now set for October 2024.
Tom Hardy is set to reprise his role as the lead character Eddie Brock. Joining him in the cast are Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Clark Backo. Kelly Marcel will make her directorial debut with the film, with Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Hutch Parker, Marcel, and Hardy serving as producers.
The first two films in the franchise, Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage, were major successes. Production of Venom: The Last Dance was briefly halted due to the SAG-AFTRA strike but resumed at the end of November.
