DANCING With the Stars is known for having at least one athlete per season.
The reality competition show sometimes chooses Olympic legends or athletes who just competed at the games months prior.
With no cast announcement yet for Season 33, fans are itching to find out who will be on the show.
Julianne Hough and Alfonso Riberio will be back as co-hosts.
Four Olympic athletes have been rumored to be on this season.
They all recently competed at this Summer’s games.

STEPHEN NEDOROSCIK
Stephen Nedoroscik was part of the men’s gymnastics team this summer.
He led his team to victory, earning the bronze medal in the team final after his stunning performance on the pommel horse.
Stephen was dubbed “Pommel horseman” after he only competed on that apparatus and became a meme online as he looked to be sleeping before that.
When asked about being on DWTS, the gymnast dodged the question and acted nervous.
He sat down for an interview with Access Hollywood, and the reporter asked him if he would go on the show.
“One of my biggest insecurities is dancing, personally,” Stephen said in a nervous tone.
“But, I’m always the type of guy that pushes boundaries.”
Stephen said it wasn’t out of the question because he has “gotten comfortable with being uncomfortable.”
He gave a nervous laugh when the reporter asked him if he was game and said, “We’ll see.”

Another clue that the gymnast could have signed on for DWTS is that his name is no longer on the website for the Gold Over America Tour.
The tour kicks off on September 16 and 17 in California, which coincides with the DWTS premiere on the 17.
JORDAN CHILES
Gymnast Jordan Chiles is also rumored to be on the show after dropping a hint.
She won the gold medal in the women’s all-around with her team – Simone, Suni, Jade Carey, and Hezley Rivera.
Jordan did earn a bronze medal in the floor final but was stripped of it.
She originally placed fifth, but her coaches put in a request to reevaluate her score after they thought she wasn’t judged fairly on a few tricks.
In the end, the gymnast wound up placing third and taking home the bronze medal, stripping it away from Romanian gymnast, Ana Barbosu.
The Romanian team fought back and said that Ana deserved the medal, which was taken away from Jordan.
Fans thought Jordan was going to be on DWTS after she did a post-game interview with Good Morning America instead of Today.
Today airs on NBC, which is the same station as the Olympics, as GMA is on ABC, where DWTS airs.
“Very classy interview and responses from her. Interesting she did this interview with GMA and not Today Show/NBC. Definitely feels like Dancing with Stars might be in her future. I kept waiting for it in the interview,” said one Reddit user.
“DWTS is also on ABC so it seems like this was maybe supposed to be the announcement and/or she’s already looped in the Disney PR teams to get this interview.”
“This is definitely giving Dancing with the Stars being imminent,” said another.
ILONA MAHER
Ilona Maher is a rugby union player, who won a bronze medal during this Olympics.
She made her debut for the United States women’s national rugby union team against Japan in 2018.
Ilona also competed in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Eagle-eyed fans spotted a clue that the rugby player will compete on Season 33.
Days after winning her medal, Ilona reportedly followed the official DWTS Instagram account.
“If this ends up happening and they give her a partner that doesn’t suck…PREPARE TO BE SICK OF ME,” a Reddit user said, after it was posted to the platform.
“YESSSS NO WAY I LOVE HER I HOPE SHES ON THIS SEASON,” said another.
RAYGUN
Australian break dancer Raygun, whose real name is Rachel Gunn, made headlines for her performance at the Olympics.
She went viral as she performed moves such as kangaroo hopping, a snake slithering and a “sprinkler.”
Raygun broke her silence and told fans she “gave it her all.”
DWTS bosses are “desperate” to sign Raygun to the show, according to the Daily Mail.
An insider told the outlet that the show is “keen” to offer the 36-year-old the opportunity to capitalize on her Olympics disaster and gain her reputation back, which DWTS is known to do.
The source said that they believe Raygun is a “good fit” and “would love to talk to her.”
“Dancing with the Stars has had its fair share of amazing dancers, awful dancers, and just pop culture for years and Raygun is now one of their targets for the upcoming season,” the insider told the outlet.
“They are always on the lookout for people up until the last minute and always want to be on the pulse of what people are talking about.”
“That’s why they always go after Housewives, Bachelor franchise people, political names and this year Olympians and the Hawk Tuah girl,” they continued.
“If they think someone could provide the ratings then they’ll consider it.”
The cast is usually revealed on Good Morning America before the season opener.
Season 33 will premiere on ABC and Disney Plus on September 17 at 8 pm.
