Ukraine’s incursion into Russia’s Kursk region a month ago was a bold move which has shifted the narrative around Vladimir Putin’s full-scale invasion, according to the head of the U.K.’s foreign intelligence service MI6.
Richard Moore made the comments during a rare joint public appearance with the head of the CIA, Bill Burns on Saturday which was streamed by the Financial Times.
“It’s typically audacious and bold on the part of the Ukrainians to try and change the game,” Moore said in a question about whether Kyiv’s move was a good idea.
“I think they have, to a degree, changed the narrative around [the war with Russia],” he said.
This is a developing story.
