Trump Lawyer Threatens to Put Letitia James’ ‘Fata–” In Jail

President-elect Donald Trump’s attorney Mike Davis told New York Attorney General Letitia James, “We’re not messing around this time and we will put your fata** in prison for conspiracy against rights.”

Davis joined The Benny Show on Thursday and told conservative commentator and YouTuber Benny Johnson that he dares James to “continue your lawfare against President Trump.” In 2018, James campaigned to “take on” then-President Donald Trump, and in February, she won a civil fraud case against Trump and top Trump Organization executives.

“Let me just say this to Big Tish James, the New York Attorney General, I dare you to try to continue your lawfare against President Trump in his second term,” Davis said. “Listen here, sweetheart, we’re not messing around this time, and we will put your fata** in prison for conspiracy against rights. I promise you.”

Newsweek reached out to James’ office via email for comment Thursday evening.

In the civil case James won against Trump, New York State Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron, found the president-elect and his two sons guilty of fraud by overvaluing certain properties. Engoron ordered an original penalty of $354 million, which ballooned to $464 million due to interest.

Trump was also found guilty of 34 felonies for falsifying business documents to send hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels. The president-elect has called James an enemy that should be “prosecuted.”

Davis also told Jack Smith, the special counsel in Trump federal investigations, to “lawyer up” in a post.

“Think long and hard before you want to violate President Trump’s constitutional rights or any other American’s constitutional rights,” Davis said. “It’s not going to happen again.”

Davis, who has been said to be a potential attorney general in Trump’s upcoming administration, seems stuck on revenge against Democrats after Trump’s win Tuesday night. He wrote to X, formerly known as Twitter, that he wants to “drag their dead political bodies through the streets, burn them and throw them off the wall. (Legally, politically and financially, of course.)”

Trump could conceivably pardon himself once in office if he is convicted of a federal crime, although the likelihood of him needing to do so is now highly unlikely. He still faces dozens of other charges in state and federal investigations. Trump has pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him. Not only can a sitting president not be prosecuted for a crime under Department of Justice policy, but Trump could remove Smith and order the DOJ to drop both cases once he takes office.

James held a press conference following Trump’s victory saying she “did not expect this result but we are prepared to respond to this result.” James said her office has been preparing for several months “because we’ve been here before.”

“We’ve studied their platforms. We’ve identified certain possibilities, fact patterns. We’ve created contingency plans. So no matter what the next administration throws at us, we’re ready,” James said. “We’re ready to respond to their attacks. We’re ready to respond to any attempts to cut or eliminate any funding to the great state of New York as the governor outlined.”

On Newsmax on Thursday, Davis said James is “about to get reversed on appeal” for her “bogus lawsuit against President Trump for fraud.” He warned she “better be careful” because she could be committing a “federal civil rights felony called conspiracy against rights.” Davis said the Trump 47-administration will not “have any patience.”

“I think the American people saw the so-called evidence by these Democrats, prosecutors and the Biden-Harris Justice Department along with in New York City, in Atlanta, the American people delivered their verdict on Tuesday,” Davis said. “They put President Trump back in the White House instead of the Democrat’s plan to put President Trump on Rikers Island.”

Davis later posted to X a clip of him on Newsmax, adding that James “needs to step away from the cameras and really reflect on how she violated the law.”

“This isn’t a game any of these Democrat prosecutors want to play with the incoming Trump administration,” he posted.
