THE KELCE brothers addressed all the mysterious drone craze that has led to wild and baseless conspiracy theories.
Dozens of sightings have been reported over New Jersey, while others appeared in New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio and other US states since last month.
Travis and Jason Kelce were asked about it in the latest episode of their New Heights podcast and admitted it is “a little concerning”.
The NFL star brothers initially played out the idea that it was aliens, which is a popular opinion among conspiracy theorists.
Travis, 35, started out with an incorrect statement: “‘The aliens are among us, the pentagon said it.”
Jason, 37, correctly replied: “No, they’re not aliens… They [the pentagon] didn’t say it was aliens.”
Travis shot back: “Dude, ask dad. He’s been on the satellites, dude, he heard’em.”
Jason responded: “It’s a little concerning. I don’t know what they’re looking for or what they’re trying to find but they’re searching for something.”
However, the Kansas City Chiefs superstar set the record straight on a serious note and urged the public not to panic.
The tight end suggested that it’s just some mischievous people being a nuisance that are behind all this.
Travis said: “No one go crazy, everyone keep calm, they’re just drones.
“What are they doing? We don’t know. Somebody’s just f*****g around in their backyard.”
Jason agreed and responded: “Do they have weapons? No. Can they hurt us? No.”
The Philadelphia Eagles legend then jokingly yelled: “PANICCC!”
US President Joe Biden said there is “nothing nefarious” about the drone sightings and there is “no sense of danger”.
Secretary of homeland security Alejandro Mayorkas told ABC News he knows of “no foreign involvement”.
Connecticut representative Jim Himes said that senior defence and law enforcement officials had told lawmakers that “there is zero evidence of laws being broken” by the drones.
Himes added that the “vast majority” of sightings were normal aircraft or drones being operated lawfully.
