WALMART is selling tiny home kits this month that come fully-equipped with the essentials.
Homeowners interested in downsizing to a miniature space can get three different options from the retail giant.
Deciding between them will likely depend on consumers’ budgets and how many people will be living in the space.
For single occupants or possibly two occupants, the 13-foot Apple Cabin could be the tiny home of their dreams.
Walmart praised the space as “the epitome of refined outdoor living,” with modern aesthetics, durability, and functionality, per the product description.
The complete dimensions for the Apple Cabin are 13 feet by 7.4 feet by 7.7 feet, with a cubic square footage of 740.
It’s made of aluminum composite paneling on parts of the interior and all of the exterior, along with white fluorocarbon aluminum plates.
Much of the rest of the interior is environmentally conscious with “wood plastic plain grain gusset plates and EO-grade ecological plates.”
Along the front side of the unit are also “double-layer, lightweight, high-strength push-out windows” for letting plenty of natural light in.
The windows also serve as the entrance to the space, with the center panel doubling as the front door.
BATHROOM BONUS
While the main interior living area is ideal for a bed, there is also a shower with a back push-out window to vent the air out, a sink, a toilet, and a bedside cupboard.
A singular top spotlight is also in the center of the space.
Walmart recommends using it as a “guest retreat, home office, artistic studio, or wellness sanctuary.”
It sells for a base price of $11,800 and can be shipped for free to standard customers and Walmart+ members.
Of course, electricity, internet, utilities, and plumbing would have to be installed separately.
There are two other variations of the Apple Cabin with more to offer.

SIZE VARIATION
The first is slightly larger at 16 feet by 7.4 feet by 7.7 feet.
A kitchen cabinet storage area is the most significant difference between the two designs, with the exterior virtually identical and made of the same aluminum material.
There’s also a seating area with a miniature dining table.
It still has the windows, shower, washroom, toilet, and other features seen in the 13-foot design.
It’s unclear what the price point is for the 16-foot Apple Cabin, as it is not listed on Walmart’s website.
The third and final variation is 20 feet by 7.4 feet by 7.7 feet.
Differences include considerably more storage space and cubic square footage at 1,140, similar to a one-bedroom apartment.
A small office area can also be included alongside the bedroom in the 20-foot Apple Cabin.
The shower and washroom areas are also slightly expanded with a shower curtain and mirror.
It was again constructed with the same aluminum and eco-friendly materials.
The 20-foot tiny home kit, unsurprisingly, costs the most at $17,400.
Competitors like Amazon also sell similar tiny home kits.
A “turnkey” kit with two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a massive bathroom is selling for $28,499 on its site.
Additionally, a $35,000 “luxury pod mansion” with a marble bathroom and two bedrooms is available for Amazon shoppers.
