The Snapchat dog filter had completely revolutionized* social media for millennials.
Everyone was breakin’ bones on hoverboards.
And retail stores were experiencing their first onslaught of the song “Uptown Funk.”
2015 was also the year I lost my phone in a bar in New York City, strange pictures of a man taking selfies with an orange tree started showing up on my new phone, I became a meme on the Chinese internet, I traveled to China, I became a celeb there, made a friend for life, and NOW it’s a documentary.
Let me slow down a bit for those of you not in the *know.*
The Chinese internet found the story and found that man, affectionately naming him “Brother Orange.”
They (the Chinese internet) demanded we meet, so I traveled halfway around the world to meet Brother Orange on the wildest trip of my life.
We were riding around in cars with our faces on it.
And millions of people across China watched me take a mud bath with a man I had JUST met.
I also became very fast friends with this guy, Brother Orange, who unexpectedly changed my life.
Brother Orange premieres on digital and cable VOD on January 21. You can pre-order that today on Apple TV:
