Who says you can’t mix a little sweet with savory? Amy Slaton certainly doesn’t.

In US Weekly‘s sneak peek of the Tuesday, October 22 episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters, the 36-year-old TLC icon shops for groceries to whip up something you likely won’t find in your average cookbook: white chocolate shrimp alfredo.

“I don’t know where my crazy recipes come from, I just want to experiment,” Slaton mused. “At the end of the day, it might not be good, but it might be bomb as f—.”

Her inquiry to a store employee about the whereabouts of white chocolate took a surprising turn when she disclosed the purpose behind her purchase. “It’s like regular alfredo, you just add chocolate chips,” she explained. “Really?” the puzzled grocery worker asked, noting, “I prefer garlic in mine… and onion powder.” Without skipping a beat, Slaton said, “That’s what covers up the white chocolate!”

Joking about her culinary future, the mom of two quipped, “Maybe I’ll be on Dancing With the Chefs!”

Slaton’s shopping list included some typical alfredo fixings — “onion powder, ranch powder, and garlic powder” — alongside her less conventional choices. “I’ll put a little bit of vanilla in it,” she said. “Little bit of creole seasoning to cut it. I don’t know what edamame is, but we’ll find out.”

The trip took a comedic turn when she stumbled upon an item labeled “Puck Cream,” which she misread as “F— Cream.”

“My head autocorrected that,” Slaton laughed. “I think it’s a sweet condensed milk type of deal. It looks Arabic or Indian or Taiwan or something.” The TV personality went on to explain that she’s “Never used ‘F— Cream,’ but I’ve used a lot of lube in my life.”

Away from the kitchen, Slaton’s life continues to be a whirlwind. Since January 2020, she and her sister, Tammy Slaton, have been public about their weight-loss journeys. The current season, which began on October 8, dives deep into Amy’s adjustments to single life following her split from Michael Halterman in March 2023, after nearly four years of marriage.
