But let’s be honest here: the Republican talking points are far from trying to uplift America and seem largely fueled by a phobia of the “other.” Look no further than Tony Hinchcliffe’s appearance at Trump’s MSG rally.
Nonetheless, in the past few months, much of the hate-filled rhetoric has ramped up–as it did in 2016 and again, in 2020. So, it’s nothing new per se but it does become a moment where our friends and families true colors begin to show.
This particular election feels more divisive than any in the past. The die-hard Republican supporters, particularly, have parroted some incredulous claims.
