As Taylor Swift wraps up the end of her history-making Eras Tour, she teased fans with a “little-known fact” on the first of her final three shows.
Swift, 34, hit the stage at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver on Friday, December 6 — and delivered a playful message to all the Swifties in the sold-out stadium.
“It means the world to me to have the honor of saying these words to you: Vancouver, welcome to the Eras Tour,” the 14-time Grammy winner told the crowd in her Lover monologue, according to fan footage from the event.
“This is a little known fact, not many people know this, it hasn’t been talked about very much, but let me give you some information that you probably don’t already know,” she teased. “Vancouver is actually the very last city that we will play on the Eras Tour. Did you know that?” The stadium cheered in response.
It’s no surprise that nearly everyone does, indeed, know that — given that the Eras Tour has been a pop culture juggernaut ever since Swift played her first show of the run in March of last year.
Elsewhere during her Vancouver set on Friday, the “Anti-Hero” artist surprised the crowd with two mash-ups: first, on guitar, she performed a combination of Speak Now‘s “Haunted” and 1989’s “Wonderland.” She then hit the piano for Speak Now‘s “Never Grow Up” and “The Best Day” from Fearless.
Swift plays her final-ever Eras show in Vancouver on Sunday, December 8. While boyfriend Travis Kelce has flown all over the world to see the “Maroon” artist perform on the Eras Tour, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end won’t be able to make her final show as he’ll be playing against the L.A. Chargers that night.
