Taylor Swift only needed one word to correct a security guard at the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, November 10.
The 34-year-old pop icon — clad in a crimson skirt set and a black leather corset top — arrived at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday in a golf cart with mom Andrea Swift. Taylor was immediately surrounded by photographers ready to capture footage of her entrance, and security was on hand to ensure everyone’s safety.
“Guys, stay back! Stay back!” one security guard instructed the photographers. Taylor, for her part, corrected him by adding one polite word.
“Stay back, please,” she emphasized in the clip.
Fans couldn’t get enough of the clip, which immediately circulated on social media Sunday afternoon.
“oh yes taypolite we love you,” one person gushed via X (formerly known as Twitter).
“Polite queen!” another user chimed in.
“‘Stay back PLEASE!’ Chiefs MVP,” a third fan tweeted.
“Haha she really toddler mom’d the f*** out of them,” another person quipped.
Taylor’s gentle scolding was just one of the viral moments with security on Sunday. Just minutes later, another clip of the “Karma” singer made its way across the internet — one that depicted security demanding photographers “stand up” whenever they went to kneel down to take a shot of Taylor. Fans immediately interpreted security’s instructions as Taylor being protected from any accidental upskirt photos.
“Her security yelling at the photographers to stand up so they can’t take photos under her skirt 🙁 welcome to being a woman,” one fan tweeted alongside the video of the interaction. The video has since racked up nearly 16 million views.
As for the game itself, the Chiefs went on to beat the Broncos 16 to 14, continuing to be undefeated this season. Taylor, who has been dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce since last summer, has been to every Chiefs home game this season.
