Target’s skeleton is being sold at $69.99, compared to Home Depot’s price of $299.

However, there are some skeletal differences between the two, literally.

Most noticeably, Home Depot’s skeleton is 12 feet tall, whereas Target’s is only 5.4 feet tall.

If height doesn’t matter to you, Target’s skeleton may be the better option.

Those who opted for the cheaper model have positive things, as the product has 19 five-star reviews.

“LOVED it,” one shopper wrote on Target’s website.

“Worked perfectly for changing yard scenes every day in the month of October 2023!

“Our little village loved seeing what the next day was going to be.”

Another customer shared pictures of their skeleton set up in their home, next to a skeleton dog and fall leaves.

“Description was true, it is big and beautiful! Arms legs and feet are all posable. Love her!”

The description for the 63-inch skeleton offers different ways it can be used to help get your home in the spooky spirit.

“You can hang it in the dark corner around the house to frighten your friends,” the description reads.

“It is an ideal choice for Halloween parties, ghost houses, and horror themes to create a horrible atmosphere.”

SKELLY’S STORY

The Home Depot’s 12-foot-tall skeleton, “Skelly,” first became famous online and has been nearly impossible to buy ever since.

The $299 decoration is a hot commodity amongst Halloween fanatics.

Last year, the skeleton sold out over a month before Halloween.

Proud owners of Skelly were quick to post on The Home Depot website their full review of the massive product.

“Home Depot’s 12-foot skeleton with different eyes and remote control is an absolute game-changer for Halloween enthusiasts like myself,” one customer wrote.

“Its stature, customizable eye options, and convenient remote control feature make it a must-have for anyone looking to elevate their spooky decor to the next level. With its durable construction, this skeleton will be a beloved centerpiece of my Halloween display for years to come.”

Another shopper said it took them years to finally get their own Skelly.

“Love my Skelly! I have been wanting one for years but they were always sold out,” they wrote.

“I finally was smart enough to put my email on the list for when they were restocked. Got notified they were available, ordered it, picked him up, and the rest is history. I am currently awaiting his Santa Costume!”
