TARGET has been slammed by angry shoppers who are “disappointed” in the chain’s poor Christmas stock.

Multiple frustrated Target customers took to the social media platform X to make their opinions known.

The complaints ranged from the lack of boy’s clothing for Christmas to a discontinued dog toy that a pet owner always gets for her pooch.

These complaints spanned a number of days, with one person saying on December 12: “I am very disappointed in target this holiday season.

“Yall ain’t had sh*t… just everything out of stock.”

Target is yet to respond publically to this post.

In a separate outburst on December 14, one of Target‘s own employees took to X to ask the store for help with their poor Christmas items.

Keana said: “@Target as a fellow employee, you discontinued my dogs favorite toy that we get him every Christmas, can you help a girl out.”

Target did respond to this one, replying: “Oh no! We know how excited our fur friends get for their favorite toys.

“We would be more than happy to pass along your feedback if you would like to DM us your name, email, and the item. Thanks for reaching out!”

The employee responded “Done thank you”, and Target thanked Keana for her time.

Two days later on December 16, a third complaint came in, reading: “The way you barely ever have holiday clothing for boys is ridiculous.

I found a Dollar Tree dupe for skincare that’s $12 at Target – they also had Beautyblender lookalikes shaped like fruit

“The girls clothing section is triple the size of the boys @Target.”

The store quickly replied: “We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will certainly share your feedback with our teams.

“No matter what you get, we’re sure they will look adorable. Have a great rest of your day!”

It is unclear if any of these three issues have been dealt with.

TARGET WOES

These are not the only issues Target has been facing recently, as reported by The US Sun.

The store has once again come under fire for their self-checkout systems which left one shopper unable to pay for their goods.

The shopper exceeded the store’s limit with more than 10 products – but there were no manned check-outs open.

“When you limit the self checkout to 10 items, but don’t have any employee-run registers open … please explain,” posted Charles C on X.

TARGET RETURN POLICY

Here is Target’s updated return policy:

Target reserves the right to deny returns, refunds and exchanges including but not limited to prevent fraud, suspected fraud or abuse.

Target’s Return Policy

  • Most items sold by Target that are unopened and in new condition can be returned within 90 days for a refund or exchange. The return period for items purchased from Target.com starts when the order is invoiced, which occurs when any part of the order is shipped, delivered by a Shipt shopper, or made ready for pickup. Certain items have different return policies, as indicated on the receipt, packing slip, Target’s policy board (refund exceptions), Target.com, or within the item’s description. Refunds or exchanges may be refused for items that are opened, damaged, or lack a receipt.

Target Plus™ Partner’s Return Policy

  • Most items sold by Target Plus Partners that are unopened and in new condition can be returned within 90 days for a refund. The return period for Target.com purchases begins once the order is invoiced. Items sold by Target Plus Partners must be returned to Target, either in-store or by mail. Some items may have different return policies, which are outlined on Target.com. Refunds may be refused for opened or damaged items, and in-store returns without a valid receipt will be denied. Some items, like electronics, may have a shorter return window; please refer to the specific item description for details.

Voicing his frustration he continued: “And then I’m told I can’t use the self checkout because too many items but no one is available to work a register…. Cmon now. Shouldn’t be like this.”

It would seem Target recognizes there’s a problem with their system as a spokesperson responding on X said: “I understand how this can be frustrating, thank you for sharing your feedback.

“We hear that the new checkout process isn’t working. And it sounds like we’re not staffing enough team members at the register.”
