Swifties Furious Over Antonio Brown’s post on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce

Hell hath no fury like Swifties scorned, and retired NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown learned this lesson the hard way.

Following the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, September 29, Brown, 36, took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a NSFW tweet, in which he called Kelce “washed,” and suggested he needed to move on from his girlfriend, pop artist Taylor Swift — using some rather misogynistic language.

As is par for the course, Swifties caught wind of Brown’s post, and needless to say, they were not happy.

“ppl need to stop being so hateful,” said one fan. “travis and taylor don’t deserve that.”

Another fan called Brown out on the chauvinistic wording of the post.

“why do yall refer to woman as a body part you could’ve simply said he needs a black woman,” they said.

One person noted that Brown, who retired earlier this year, has no business calling anyone “washed.”

“Guy who spends Sundays on Twitter calls guy that is one year older than him and that is still playing ‘washed?’ OK. That checks out.,” they said — though, it is worth noting that Kelce is actually 34.

Neither Swift nor Kelce have commented on the matter, but they’ve both been keeping busy. This fall, Kelce is in for triple duty on the screen, between the NFL season, FX’s Grotesquerie, and Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity? — the latter most set to premiere on Prime Video on Wednesday, October 16.

Additionally, Swift is gearing up for the final leg of her critically acclaimed Eras Tour, which is set to resume Friday, October 18 in Miami Gardens, Florida.
