But the broadcaster has introduced some more following research into the year’s most loved phrases.

“Gladiators ready” topped the list after the competition show returned to screens this year on BBC One fronted by Bradley Walsh and his son Barney.

And saying just that into the Sky remote will instantly summon episodes.

“I am a Faithful” came in second for The Traitors, which you can also say.

“TV makes up a big part of our cultural identity, with many modern and classic lines from shows finding their way into our vocabulary and social media feeds,” said Ben Case, Managing Director for Sky TV.

“85 per cent of us say we’ve used a quote from a TV show in conversation, demonstrating the real power of TV in shaping the zeitgeist.

“We’re celebrating this by adding some of the most iconic phrases to our Sky TV voice control glossary, so viewers can find the shows they’re from in a new, fun way.”

The research also revealed the most popular classic lines from the small screen, finding “Lovely jubbly” (Only Fools and Horses, 37 per cent), “How you doin’?” (Friends, 22 per cent) and “Get outta my pub” (EastEnders, 14 per cent) among those most commonly quoted by the British public.

Quotes from Sky series Brassic, Netflix’s Beckham documentary, as well as Bridgerton have been added.

“Sent from iPhone” from Baby Reindeer followed in third – though fans can say another phrase from the Netflix series to summon episodes: “I wish humans had a chin zip.”

Here’s the full list of additions to try out on your Sky TV:

  • Give over – Brassic
  • Be honest – Beckham
  • Dearest gentle reader – Bridgerton
  • You live to work. We work to live – Emily in Paris
  • Whatever grows together, goes together – The Bear

The latest additions come as Sky recently introduced a brand new cheaper package known as Sky Essential TV.

The broadcaster has scaled back the number of premium channels people can access but the new low price service does come with Sky Atlantic, plus Netflix and Discovery+.

Sky says the offering brings together over 100 channels.

Sky Essential TV comes in at a competitive £15 per month for new customers – which works out to less than 50p per day.
