AFTER adding three gold medals at the Paris Olympics to her trophy cabinet, Simone Biles has returned to training.
Ahead of an upcoming tour around the nation where she’ll be joined by 14 fellow gymnasts, 27-year-old Biles has returned to the gym.
“First day back,” she captioned a photo from her gymnasium in Texas on Saturday.
Biles is set to perform in the Athleta Presents Gold Over America Tour this fall.
The tour will head to 30 locations around the nation between September 16 and November 3
Biles will be joined by fellow gymnasts including Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, Hezly Rivera, and Katelyn Ohashi.

The tour is described as “a high-flying pop concert-style spectacle” that will bring “an exhilarating display of jaw-dropping athletic brilliance and high-energy choreography coupled with inspirational messages of hope, strength, resilience, and determination.”
This will mark the second occasion the tour has taken place, with Biles having led the 2021 tour to 32 cities.
Biles last competed at the Summer Games in Paris where she won gold medals in the team event, all-around final, and on the vault.
She made history by winning the all-around final gold, becoming the first woman to have claimed the title twice since 1968.
Biles also added a silver in the floor exercise.
With 11 Olympic medals to her name, Biles is now the US’ most successful gymnast in the history of the competition.
Having been the only Team USA gymnast over the age of 25 in Paris, and given the fact she has already cemented herself as one of the sport’s all-time greats, question marks have long surrounded Biles’ future.
Speaking with Hoda Kotb onĀ NBC’s Today Show in early August, Biles was asked if she had competed in her final Olympics – to which she gave a usually coy answer.
“You know, you never say never,” Biles said.
“The next Olympics [Los Angeles 2028] is on home turf, so you just never know.
“I’m just gonna relax and see where life takes me.”
Married to Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens since April 2023, Biles also revealed to Kotb that they do want to become parents in the future.
“Yes, me and Jonathan always talk about kids,” Biles said.
“He would have had them like yesterday if he could have. Obviously, we both have goals that we want to achieve before we start a family.”
Whether or not Biles’ goals include yet more Olympic medals remains to be seen.
As for Biles, 2024 will be his seventh season in the NFL after going undrafted out of Missouri Western in 2018.
Owens’ career got off to a slow start, missing his rookie season due to injury before working his way up the depth chart with the Houston Texans.
In 2022, he became a full-time starter, moving to the Green Bay Packers the following season.
Now with Chicago, Owens is listed as a second-stringer on their depth chart.
