Selena Gomez brought her boyfriend Benny Blanco to the 2024 Emmys red carpet. The Wizards of Waverly Place alum brought her music producer partner as her date as her show Only Murders in the Building has been nominated for 21 Emmy Awards.
Though the two didn’t pose together for some photo ops, Benny appeared to be really supportive of Selena on the red carpet. In some phone camera footage captured by E! News, Benny is trailing behind Selena and her crew wearing a matching sequined suit. Selena was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for the first time and received her third consecutive nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series. Selena was wearing a diamond-encrusted ring on her ring finger, but does that mean she’s engaged? Not necessarily so. She could be wearing it for decorative reasons.

Selena recently gushed about her romance with Benny. The two have been public since December 2023. “I’ve never been loved this way,” she told Vanity Fair. “He’s just been a light. A complete light in my life. He’s my best friend. I love telling him everything.”
Meanwhile, Benny wants to take things further with Selena. During an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show in May 2024, the radio host asked: “You want to have kids with Selena? Have you told her you want to have kids yet?” to which Benny replied: “It’s always a topic of conversation to me every day. That’s my next goal, to check the box. I have a ton of godkids; I’ve got a ton of nephews. I love being around kids.”
He continued, “I take everything a day at a time. I just know that when I look at her, I just say, ‘I don’t know a world where it could be better than this.’ That’s what I always say to her.”
