A PREGNANT Russian crypto queen has been thrown into gulag after she was accused of running a £17million scam to help fund Ukraine’s army.
Valeria Fedyakina is alleged to have built up her millions in just two months from a pyramid scheme targeting four different people before she was caught and jailed.
Cops have spent the last year investigating Fedyakina – known as Queen of Crypto – after the Kremlin accused her of running the huge scam to help out Ukraine.
Fedyakina’s lawyers continue to deny she had any intention on sending the money gained to Vladimir Putin’s sworn enemies.
She was first arrested in September 2023 on suspicion of running an alleged pyramid scam after victims claimed she conned them out of millions.
One victim even told cops they had lost £57million to Fedyakina.
Investigators later announced they have only been able to confirm losses totalling £17million.
All of the lost cash came from a combined four victims and took place across less than 60 days in 2023.
Fedyakina – who went by Bitmama online – allegedly portrayed herself as a cryptocurrency expert.
She attracted wealthy individuals with promises of making them profit on crypto investments, cops claim.
Her fake portfolio on social media said she was in charge of global offices in Moscow, Dubai, Monaco, Serbia, and even Turkey.
After gaining the trust of people, Fedyakina would tell investors to send her money so she could transfer it Dubai as crypto, say investigators.
The Russian woman would allegedly tell them they could avoid banking restrictions if they sent the money through her.
Clients reported to cops that Fedyakina allegedly lured them in with promises of a one per cent bonus on the cash they sent across once it was transferred into crypto currency.
Prosecutors say the cash mysteriously disappeared shortly after the interaction was completed.
After looking into Fedyakina further, investigators claimed she had funnelled the money across to Ukraine’s armed forces.
They say she was helping to raise funds to help them fight against Putin’s invasion.
Fedyakina was swiftly tracked down and arrested last year as she tried to flee Russia on a plane to the United Arab Emirates.
She was six months pregnant when she was placed in pre-trial detention and refused house arrest.
Fedyakina was only briefly allowed to leave gulag when she gave birth to her daughter in a special maternity hospital.
After regaining some strength the Kremlin tossed her back into a hellhole jail.
Her defence team has continuously denied all the claims of fraud.
They have even told local media Fedyakina has always supported Russia’s invasion.
If she is released they say she is happy to donate funds to help Putin’s men overcome Ukraine.
They claim she is a victim of a crypto conspiracy herself.
Formal charges are expected to be bought upon Fedyakina in November.
She faces up to 10 years in prison if she is convicted.
It comes as a raging Vlad sent another 24-year-old woman to gulag after she was accused of selling secrets to Ukraine, earlier this month.
Viktoria Mukhametova has been sent to a penal colony for 12-and-a-half years after she was accused of handing Kyiv blueprints for Russia’s tanks.

VLADIMIR Putin is more powerful than ever, a former Kremlin adviser has warned.
Political scientist Nikolay Petrov believes Putin is irreplaceable and virtually unmovable from the top seat in Russia due to his iron-clad control over those beneath him.
Political scientist Nikolay Petrov believes Putin is irreplaceable and virtually unmovable from the top seat in Russia due to his iron-clad control over those beneath him.
Most were left deciding if they wanted to support Putin and stay in Russia – or desert him at the beginning of the invasion.
Almost all of those who stayed close to the tyrant rallied around him despite the looming threat of additional Western sanctions, Petrov said.
Petrov also warned that life after Putin’s reign could see Russia destabilised with no one powerful enough left to take the reins.
He said Putin’s weak cronies and brainwashed citizens are completely reliant on him and a period of chaos would follow without the tyrant.
