Ravens All-Pro Safety Kyle Hamilton Exits Game With Scary Non-Contact Injury

Baltimore Ravens All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton has exited the game in what appeared to be a non-contact leg injury. When attempting to make a tackle in the second quarter, Hamilton’s leg twisted in the turf, and he immediately stayed on the ground.

Hamilton was then shown hobbling off the field on his own power, and went right into the blue medical tent.

Hamilton appeared to look in a lot of pain before he exited the field. After staying on the field for a few moments, he left to be checked out by medical staff.

The good news is that the second quarter was close to ending, so Hamilton might get more time to rest during halftime and could possibly come back into the game. However, the way that his ankle twisted did not look like anything minimal.

The best-case scenario is that Hamilton just suffered a minor twist and can get taped up and rejoin his time. The worst case is this injury will knock him out of the game, along with sidelining him for additional time.

The Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals are battling it out on Thursday Night Football in a very important divisional matchup. Baltimore is attempting to secure its seventh win of the season, and first place in the AFC North.

The Bengals are attempting to keep rebounding their season with a fifth win of the season. After a rough 1-5 start to the season, the team is now 3-1 in their last four outings.

Most of the AFC North is competitive, and the Bengals will need to start winning more games to stay relevant in their division and the entire AFC.

The Ravens losing Hamilton for this game will already be tough to deal with, but losing him for any additional time is going to be detrimental to Baltimore’s defense.

An additional report from the game’s sideline reporter indicated that Hamilton is now questionable to return for the game, and his ankle is being looked at.

Hamilton has already been on fire in 2024, securing 67 total tackles, two sacks, one forced fumble, and five passes defended. The All-Pro safety is one of the best safeties in the game, and his being ruled out is definitely going to make it harder for Baltimore to stop the passing attack from Joe Burrow.

More details will come out about Hamilton’s injury, so stay tuned to Newsweek Sports to be updated on that and all Ravens News.
