The back-and-forth toggling between starting quarterbacks for the Las Vegas Raiders carries on into Week 16.
Aidan O’Connell is back to full health from a knee injury and will be starting under center against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, as per Raiders head coach via Adam Schefter.
The Raiders had kept O’Connell as a third-string emergency backup option during Monday’s 15-9 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
Desmond Ridder, who has been O’Connell’s counterpart in the shared role for the better part of the season, started in O’Connell’s place and threw for 208 yards, completed 59% of his passes and tossed over two interceptions.
