NFL DRAFT prospect Garrett Greene has made a major decision on his future as the West Virginia star plans his “next chapter.”
The quarterback has enjoyed an amazing college career and finished his time with West Virginia at the Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl on Wednesday.
Greene is now entering the NFL Draft in the bids of playing for one of the nation’s top sides.
But he has made a major decision on his future in a move sure to shock his fans.
Having spent his time at West Virginia playing at quarter-back, he is now hoping to be picked up in the NFL as a wide receiver.
Standing at 5ft 11in and weighing 201, his mobility is likely to see him make the move with few issues.
Greene even made the announcement to supporters on social media.
He said: “Playing quarterback at West Virginia was an incredible honor that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
“I would like to thank Coach Brown, all of the staff members I worked with, and my teammates who made my five years in Morgantown so memorable.
“My family has always been there for me in both good and challenging times and I know they will continue to be there for me in the future, thank you for your love and support.
“Most importantly, I want to thank God for the abilities he has blessed me with and the opportunity to praise Him both on and off the field.
“Having sung Country Roads for the last time as a Mountaineer, I would like to announce my entry into the 2025 NFL draft as a wide receiver.
“I look forward to this next chapter of my career and the opportunity to continue playing the game I love at the highest level.”
