In terms of the matchup, centers have had success against the Hornets when their teams run the pick-and-roll (PnR), especially on PnR possessions that produce passes to the roll man. The Pistons are admittedly not a league leader in terms of field-goal attempts (FGA) for the roll man, but they’ve had success in limited attempts.

The Hornets have allowed the third-most points per game in the NBA to PnR roll men, while the Pistons have the ninth-highest points per possession by roll men.

As for what Duren will do on the glass, like his points prop, his rebounds prop is set at 11.5, with the over listed as the favored outcome by the sportsbooks.

In terms of the matchup, this is another good one against the Hornets, who have allowed some big rebounding performances to centers:

  • Naz Reid (11/4): 9 rebounds on an o/u of 5.5.
  • Jakob Poeltl (10/30): 16 rebounds on an o/u of 10.5
  • Bam Adebayo (10/26): 11 rebounds
  • Alperen Sengun (10/24): 18 rebounds on an o/u of 9.5

Look for Duren to get to 10-plus in each category to cash this out for us tonight.

Steph Curry o22.5 Points (-115) Bet365

Golden State Warriors vs. Boston Celtics, 7:30 p.m. ET (ESPN)

We got burned on Monday night backing Trae Young, but we are going right back to the Hawks PG’s point prop against the Celtics, which has been fruitful overall this season.

So far, the Celtics have allowed the most points to PGs in the NBA, and that includes Trae Young’s two-point performance in the Celtics’ most recent game.

Elsewhere, we have seen some big PG performances against the Celtics:

  • LaMelo Ball (11/2): 36 points on an o/u of 25.5
  • LaMelo Ball (11/1): 31 points on an o/u of 25.5
  • Tre Mann (11/1): 23 points on an o/u of 13.3
  • Damian Lillard (10/28): 33 points on an o/u of 22.5
  • Miles McBride (10/22): 22 points on an o/u of 9.5

The Celtics’ style of defense leads to a ton of pull-up FG opportunities, which is Steph Curry’s bread and butter.

Last year, the Celtics allowed the most pull up 3-point attempts (3PA) in the NBA at 11.3, and while shooting is up in the NBA league-wide this year, the Celtics are allowing more pull-up 3PA this year at 12.1.

Curry missed this number in the last came against the Celtics, which came at the end of last season, but he had scored at least 23 points in the previous three regular-season games against the Celtics.

Christian Braun o12.5 Points (-115) DraftKings

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Denver Nuggets, 9 p.m. ET

Braun has had a great start for the Nuggets, and he has a good matchup tonight against the Thunder, plus increased usage due to injuries to multiple Nuggets starters.

The Nuggets had already been without Jamal Murray for the past couple games due to a concussion, and now they are going to be without Aaron Gordon for the foreseeable future with a calf injury.

Overall, Braun has scored 13 or more points in five of seven games so far this year. In the two games he went under, he was still close, with 11 and 12 points, which represents a nice, high floor.

The Nuggets desperately needed to see Braun take a step forward this season and, so far, that has come to fruition.

As for the matchup, the ways Braun scores match up well against this Oklahoma City defense, which limits points to PnR ball-handlers and via ISO, but allows points to spot-up shooters and via transition.

The Thunder have allowed the eighth-most points in the NBA via transition and the most spot-up FGA so far this season.

Braun, meanwhile, scores roughly 80 percent of his points via transition/spot-up looks. Unsurprisingly, he went over this number earlier in the season against the Thunder, scoring 16 points on his highest usage rate of the season (24.9 percent).

Let’s hope he does it again tonight.
