BUDGET BEAUTY

She gushed about paying just $1.25 at Dollar Tree for several items used in her makeup routine.

“They both work so well and for a fraction of the cost of what you’d pay in a beauty store.”

Dollar Tree’s affordable Blending Sponges look strikingly similar to Beauty Blender’s Original Makeup Sponge sold for $20 at Sephora.

Almost 475,000 shoppers have liked the product which has been designed for applying complexion products such as foundation, BB cream, and powder.

One customer said in their review Beauty Blender gives a “flawless” finish, while another raved that it doesn’t soak up products.

The Redditor preferred her bargain dupe to the pricey buy and revealed it wasn’t the only Dollar Tree product she loves.

“I like to watch YouTube reviews for tips on what to buy.”

She added that the discount store is her go-to for finding “cute” hair accessories such as scrunchies, clips, and headbands.

COSMETICS CRAZE

Many people upvoted the post to show that they were grateful for the product recommendations.

A top commenter suggested going to Dollar Tree towards the end of the year to get the makeup sponges in varying sizes.

“I got a three-pack of beauty blenders of different sizes around Christmas time in a cute little package,” she said.

“The smallest one is absolutely perfect for blending color corrector/concealer under my eyes.

The amazement over Dollar Tree comes after TikToker Victoria Sofia (@victoriasofia.m) was surprised to find dupes of expensive skincare products at the store.

She said it was “crazy” how similar B-Pure’s Revitalizing Moisturizer is to Olay Regenertist, which costs $27.40 at Target.

She also likened Dollar Tree’s mini lip oils to Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil priced at $20 each at Sephora.

Victoria recommended swapping haircare products such as shampoo and conditioner for bargain alternatives.
