Clad in a black dress and heels, the mom-of-four was last photographed in public leaving a party in Alamo Heights, near San Antonio, Texas.

But a disturbance between the couple was reported later that night when a neighbor saw them arguing and heard screams outside their home in Olmos Park, according to Olmos Park Police Chief Fidel Villegas.

The neighbor told cops he saw Brad “grabbing [Suzanne’s] upper torso area to gain control of her body,” according to an arrest warrant affidavit obtained by local ABC affiliate KSAT-TV.

Brad, 53, was initially arrested on October 9 on charges of assault causing bodily injury-family violence and unlawful restraint and placed on a $3 million bond, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

Those charges were related to Suzanne’s disappearance, Olmos Park Police officials confirmed at the time.

Brad was then hit with multiple felony charges for tampering with evidence and illegal weapons possession after he allegedly had a friend hide an AK-47 weapon for him.

At the time the murder charges were pressed, Suzanne’s remains had not been recovered.

An exhaustive search has spanned several neighborhoods – and a Bexar County landfill – since her disappearance and police believe her remains may be in the Bandera area, about 20 miles from Olmos Park.

Still, one month to the day Brad reported his wife missing, cops believe they have enough evidence to charge him with murder.

Brad’s total bond is now at $5 million, raised an additional $2 million from his initial arrest and charges. Details of the new arrest warrant will likely remain sealed for 30 days.

‘HEARTBREAKING ORDEAL’

Suzanne was a beloved real estate agent who was well-respected in the community.

Her disappearance has come as a shock to many in the wealthy suburb of Olmos Park.

A support group – Missing Suzanne Simpson Discussion And Updates – was even formed on Facebook for locals and other followers to keep tabs on her case.

But many unanswered questions remain.

My father took my mother’s life in a state of rage and control. In our community, this should not be happening, and I will not stop speaking as the voice of my mother until she is found.

Brad has been questioned by cops multiple times following Suzanne’s disappearance.

As the search for Suzanne stretched from days into weeks, police and Brad’s own family confirmed he wasn’t cooperating.

His brother, Barton, has shared several social media updates as the investigation continued.

“Until Brad chooses to cooperate, we will continue to cooperate for him, as we have from the very beginning of this heartbreaking ordeal,” Barton wrote in one post.

He also spoke out after the murder charges were announced, telling local ABC affiliate KSAT that it’s “heartbreaking, but it brings our family some peace to know that authorities have gathered sufficient evidence to feel confident in moving forward with charges.”

“This also helps us to come to terms with the reality that Suzanne is no longer with us, allowing us to begin a difficult grieving process and focus on rebuilding our lives, especially for the sake of the children and our extended family,” he continued.

“We remain appreciative to all law enforcement involved for their professionalism in dealing with this situation.”

Suzanne’s daughters have also spoken openly about the alleged abuse their mother endured at the hands of Brad.

“My mom was a victim of abuse from my father,” Chandler wrote on Instagram.

“My father took my mother’s life in a state of rage and control. In our community, this should not be happening, and I will not stop speaking as the voice of my mother until she is found.”

Chandler also urged women in the Alamo Heights community to speak up about domestic violence.

Meanwhile, another daughter, Chelsea, posted a heartwrenching tribute to her mom just a day before Brad was charged with murder.

“The world was a better place with my mom, she lit up every room she walked in with her unfiltered, hilariously energetic and welcoming personality,” the post’s caption read in part.

Accompanied by nearly a dozen photos of Suzanne, Chelsea’s post continued: “I used to say how I could never imagine a life without my mom and this entire month has breached FAR past any pain I could ever imagine.

“She was my greatest inspiration, comfort, and #1 supporter. I will do everything I can to live up to the mother that she was to me.

“I love and miss you so much Mom.”

BRAD’S BUSINESS PARTNER

He was initially being held on $500,000 bond.

That amount was reduced to $50,000 on the same day Brad was officially charged with murder.
