Former Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz said his confirmation process was a distraction as he withdrew from consideration to be President-elect Donald Trump’s attorney general. Gaetz has faced scrutiny over a House Ethics Committee probe into alleged sexual misconduct. He denies any wrongdoing.
