LUKE HUMPHRIES ended Luke Littler’s record-breaking run with a sensational Czech Darts Open semi-final win.

The Nuke had produced impressive wins over Nathan Aspinall, Damon Heta, where he averaged 116.51, and Michael van Gerwen 6-1 in the last eight.

But Humphries, who beat the Nuke in the World Championship final last January, triumphed 7-4 in Prague.

The World No1 kept his nose in front against the 17-year-old before sealing a deserved victory.

Humphries now faces Belgium’s World No38 Kim Huybrechts int he final.

Littler had won six straight legs to defeat Van Gerwen.

The Warrington whizkid hit six 180s – leaving MVG’s 112.19 average as the highest ever from a loser in the history of the PDC European Tour.
