HOME department chain Lowe’s has vowed to investigate a situation that occurred in one of their stores after a customer complaint.
After a few scathing posts to X, the customer received an apologetic reply from Lowe’s official account.
In an initial tweet to @Lowe’s, the customer stated, “I ordered a butcherblock countertop, and after I cut it to fit the counter, it split in half.”
They followed up, “Customer service said I broke it.”
In a separate post, it continued.
“She was so rude, I was crying over my $300 piece of butcher block.”
“When I asked her why she was being so rude, she said, ‘Sorry, you think that, but you broke it, and I can’t help you.”
“I can’t afford another one.”
“I wish I never went to Lowe’s.”
Lowe’s official X account replied to the customer’s complaints.
The message read, “Thanks for reaching out! We’re sorry to hear this and would like to know more.”
“Please DM us the name on the order, phone number, email, order number, and store location so we can help.”
The unsatisfied customer continued to post on X, sharing, “I’ll never buy anything from Lowe’s again, except for my flooring.”
This encounter happened almost one week ago, and it’s not yet known if the problem was solved in full.
