London Screenings Bolsters 2025 Lineup With Amazon MGM, PBS, Mediawan

The London Screenings party is getting bigger. The event has become a fixture in the international TV calendar and has grown from four founder members – All3Media International, Banijay Entertainment, Fremantle and ITV Studios – to a lineup that now comprises 36 content companies.

New additions to the lineup include Amazon MGM Studios Distribution, factual specialist Autentic, the rights division of French powerhouse Mediawan, U.S. broadcaster PBS’s international unit, and formats specialist TGC Global Entertainment.

Details of the expanded lineup follows news that the Screenings will add an extra day next time out, running Feb. 23-28. The new distributor additions mean there are seven more companies than in 2024 when 750 buyers came to London.

Distributors organize their own showcases and events under the London Screenings banner, with the group coordinating timings so buyers are not faced with a series of clashes and crunch decisions about which gathering to attend.

Studiocanal will kick off 2025 proceedings with a Sunday evening event at London’s Ham Yard Hotel. Elsewhere, Banijay Entertainment will set up at BAFTA’s headquarters for its event and ITV Studios, Fremantle and All3Media will host buyers at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square.

“A ‘must-attend’ in the TV industry calendar, it’s testament to Screenings’ success that even more distributors are now working collaboratively to ensure global buyers get the best access to new premium content at this free-to-attend event,” said a London TV Screenings spokesperson.

In its fifth year, the 2025 London Screenings will sit alongside the first edition of MIP London, which run Feb. 23-27 out of the plush Savoy Hotel and IET London conference center.

The full lineup of distributor so far confirmed for the London Screenings is: About Premium Content, Beta Film, Blue Ant Media, BossaNova Media, Cineflix Rights, DCD Rights, Disney, Dogwoof, Eccho Rights, Federation Studios, Fifth Season, Fox Entertainment Global, Hat Trick International, Keshet International, Lionsgate, NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution, Newen Connect, Off the Fence, Paramount Global Content Distribution, Passion Distribution, Seven. One Studios International, Sony Pictures Television, Sphere Abacus, Studiocanal, TVF International, Viaplay Content Distribution and Warner Bros. International Television Production.
