“What the actual fuck are you talking about?” he asked in exasperation.
In one clip, Trump was asked about in vitro fertilization.
“I told my people that I wanted to look at this a couple of weeks ago and as you know we have no taxes on a thing called tips, you know that?” Trump said.
Stewart offered a mocking translation.
“IVF fertilizes an egg with a sperm, and sperm comes from a penis, and a penis has a tip,” he said. “So I can only assume Donald Trump is talking about circumcision, which Jews call a tax on tips.”
Trump supporters also claim he is a friend to the American worker.
But Stewart made short work of that as he played clips of Trump’s anti-worker boasts, including the former president admitting he wouldn’t pay overtime.
“You’re admitting to fucking people over who worked for you,” Stewart said. “I mean, it’s funny. But it undercuts the ‘working man’s friend’ thing.”
He also nailed Trump on other hypocrisies, including his flip-flops on issues such as free speech and war.
Yet he also played clips of Trump backers calling him a “truth teller” and praising his “honesty.”
“Are you fucking kidding me right now?” Stewart asked. “Are you fucking kidding me?”
Stewart concluded that Trump’s supporters are backing someone who doesn’t exist.
“It’s as though they’ve created a fictional character,” he said. “A bizarro Trump, whose accomplishments and character bear little resemblance to the self-aggrandizing, perpetual victim guy he continues to tell you explicitly that he is.”
