The under-pressure Redick cut a frustrated figure as he slumped into his seat to face the media in his post-game press conference.

And his frustration was clear and evident when he stormed out of the presser after a mere ten minutes.

The tipping point was a question about his players not having the same passion as star man Lebron James.

“How do you address that with the team,” a reporter asked him. “What’s your approach for that.”

Redick replied by saying “I just did” before dropping the mic and leaving his seat.

The 40-year-old was seemingly annoyed at the reporter for not paying attention to his previous response to a question about his player’s current woes.

He said: “You have to have the sort of mental toughness to just keep shooting and have belief.

“I told a number of players that I played with when I got older, I was like, ‘I’m eight for 12.’

“‘It’s going to progress towards the positive at some point, I’m going to have an eight for 12 night.’

“And generally I did.”

Before cutting short his chat with the media, Redick took the time to hail the efforts of elder statesman James.

Redick said of the NBA legend: “He played hard.

“[He’s] almost 40 years old, played the hardest on our team. Says a lot about him.”

But he changed his tune when asked if he was satisfied by the rest of the team’s efforts, saying: “No one is.”
