JERRY JONES has sent a clear message to his struggling Dallas Cowboys flops.
The NFC East team have had a dreadful start to the 2024-25 NFL season.
They were blown out 34-10 by the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football.
That took their record to 3-7 on the year, and way off the playoff spot hunt in their division.
Any hopes of a successful campaign are all but over, as are any Super Bowl chances.
Head coach Mike McCarthy is under huge pressure, and is set to be fired.
And billionaire owner Jones has made it clear he is worried over a number of issues with the Cowboys.
“I worry a lot about execution,” said Jones after the Texans loss on Monday.
“I worry a lot about communication in the (offensive) line.
“I worry a lot about having two people in the same spot on routes.
“I worry a lot about all that stuff.
“But guys giving the effort out?
“You don’t need to worry about anybody in that locker room giving everything they got and more.”
Jones also told reporters he wants to keep Cooper Rush over Trey Lance in the quarterback position.
He believes he gives them the best chance to win games – despite calls for Lance to get a chance at QB.
The Cowboys have already lost seven times this season, but it is their home form that is the most concerning.
‘Match made in heaven’

Deion Sanders becoming head coach of the Dallas Cowboys is a match made in heaven.
It’s been 30 years now since the Cowboys last won a Super Bowl and something has to change.
This is “America’s Team,” but it has become a laughing stock and needs someone to restore them to their past glory.
That candidate who takes over from Mike McCarthy at head coach must have some magic and inspiration.
Step forward, Deion Sanders.
Sanders, 57, is one of the best players to have ever stepped on the field and was on Dallas’ team the last time they won a Super Bowl.
He is quite literally ‘Prime Time’ and that spark is exactly what the Cowboys need.
As for Deion, now is the perfect time for him to move on as well.
He has taken the Buffaloes to new heights both in terms of results and popularity.
His son, Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders, is also in his senior year in college.
Sanders could probably land a head coaching job on a legitimate national championship contender if he wants to stay in college.
But a chance to coach the Dallas Cowboys may not come calling again.
The AT&T Stadium used to be a fortress for the team, but that has not been the case this year.
They have lost there against the awful New Orleans Saints, who have since sacked their head coach.
The Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles and Texans have also won at the AT&T.
The Cowboys have also been defeated by the Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers away.
Their only wins have come against the awful New York Giants and Cleveland Browns.
However, they did get an impressive victory on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
They have injury problems across the team too, with Dak Prescott on injured reserve.
The starting quarterback is out for the season after surgery on his hamstring last week.
