Jennifer Love Hewitt has always loved celebrating the holidays, but this year promises to be her most special season yet. The 9-1-1 actress is starring in her first Christmas movie, Lifetime’s The Holiday Junkie, opposite her real-life husband, Brian Hallisay.
“I’m his biggest fan as a husband, as a person, as a dad, but also as an actor,” Jennifer, 45, tells Closer. “I’m so proud of him in this movie.”
The actress, who also cowrote and directed Holiday Junkie, has another reason to be proud: She recently released her memoir, Inheriting Magic. In it, she shares her grief over losing her mother, Patricia, in 2012, and how she keeps her memory alive.
“She taught me to live a beautiful, magical life, and that’s what she would want from me,” Jennifer says. “She comes with me in this giant place in my heart that is only hers every day.”
