Jason joined brother Travis on Wednesday for a new edition of their popular Podcast New Heights.

The 36-year-old is due to start his analyst job with ESPN next Monday.

He was asked by Travis how his close relationship with the Eagles could be affected by the new position.

NFL legend Tom Brady was recently warned he faced “severe restrictions” as he prepares to take on his own broadcast role with Fox Sports.

Brady hopes to become a minority owner in the Las Vegas Raiders, with the deal a potential conflict of interest with his new job, per ESPN.

Should the deal go through, Brady would “not be permitted to be in another team’s facility,” the ESPN report claims, citing NFL ownership rules.

“I don’t know what the rule is,” Jason admitted to Travis in relation to his own situation.

“I’m not accepting any money from the Eagles. I don’t have an official position,” he continued.

“I’m really just going there out of pure interest on my own to keep my knowledge of the game up.

“I’ve built up a lot of relationships with the people around that building that I’m gonna help out in any way I can.

“But the reality is, that’s not my job.”

Jason added that he maintains a “locker room presence” around the organization.

He spent the entire of his 13-year career with the Eagles, winning a Super Bowl in 2017.

An ESPN statement to the NY Post claimed it was “fine with Jason being around the Eagles in an unofficial capacity.”

‘It was a short retirement!’

Jason Kelce didn’t stay retired in the NFL for long.

The former Philadelphia Eagles lineman called it quits after the 2023 season.

But he will be part of ESPN’s coverage on Monday Night Football in 2024.

Kelce will appear on Monday Night Countdown from 6pm-8pm ET every week as well as during the halftime show.

“Turns out, it was a short retirement!” he joked.

“ESPN was a consistent presence in our household growing up and the network helped shape who I am and my love of all sports.

“To now appear on that same screen is a full circle moment.

“And, I mean it’s freaking Monday Night Football! and I’m ready for some football.”

Brady is due to start his $375 million Fox role on Sunday as the Dallas Cowboys take on the Cleveland Browns.

The Kelce brothers are also enjoying a huge windfall after landing their own mega-money contract.

New Heights recently penned a $100 million deal with Amazon.

The siblings inked a deal last month that gives Amazon-owned Wondery exclusive ad sales and distribution rights to the pod.

“We couldn’t be more excited to team up with Wondery for the next phase of New Heights,” the Kelce’s said in a statement, via the outlet.

“We love this show, and the fanbase that has grown with us over the last two seasons.

“Wondery understands the shared vision and will offer a wealth of experience and resources to take us to New Heights.

“We are going to create some groundbreaking moments together through this partnership. We are thrilled to start Season 3.”
