Jake Paul Outlines Future Plans: MVP, World Title Aspirations, And Mega-Events

Jake Paul has listed his path forward in boxing. He wants to build his promotional company, MVP, and work towards becoming a world champion.

The bit about becoming a world champion has caused Jake a lot of ridicule on social media, with fans viewing him as off his rocker and completely clueless. There’s no question that Jake Paul is addicted to boxing and wants to become a world champion. Without abrupt changes in the way he chooses his opponents, he’s going to age out soon and be resigned to his gimmick fights.

Jake’s Goals

  1. Build MVP – focusing on women, prospects, and cultural events
  2. Become World Champion
  3. Do massive events

Can Jake Paul Become a World Champion?

Those are admirable goals for Jake Paul to have, and he’s capable of accomplishing two of them. The world champion thing is probably out of reach at this point, given his late start in boxing.

Paul’s eight-round unanimous decision win over legend Mike Tyson last Friday night has turned him into a villain in the eyes of many boxing fans. That was the lowest of the low move on the influencer Jake’s part, but he doesn’t seem to mind being hated.

It’s weird, but he seems to revel in the role, taking the spot previously held by Floyd Mayweather Jr. as the most hated.

It will take a lot of work for the 27-year-old Paul (11-1, 7 KOs) to rise to become a world champion unless he finds the perfect situation to fight for a vacant title or interim strap at cruiserweight.

Paul easily handled the 58-year-old Mike Tyson, beating him by an eight-round unanimous decision with the scores 80-72, 79-73, and 79-73.

The event broke the attendance record for a boxing match at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. 73,300 fans showed up, smashing the previous record of 73,126 for Canelo Alvarez’s fight against Billy Joe Saunders in 2021. Sixty million homes on Netflix reportedly viewed it.
