IT Ends With Us author Colleen Hoover has made her TikTok account private following major backlash from fans.
Since the beginning of the romance novel turned film’s press tour, fans have speculated a possible feud between director and main lead actor Justin Baldoni, 40, and lead actress and producer Blake Lively, 36.
On Friday, fans noticed that Colleen, 44, decided to make her TikTok profile private.
The New York Times Best Selling author has over 2 million followers on the popular video-sharing app.
As the feud speculation continues, her Instagram remains public.
‘WHAT IS GOING ON?’
A popular pop culture X page shared a screenshot of Colleen’s account – and fans didn’t hold back their thoughts.
“Wtf is going on?” one questioned.
Another said, “That escalated so quick.”
“They’re obviously doing this to get some buzz and it’s working,” a third social media user alleged.
A fourth echoed, “I’m not buying the beef.”
“I live for the drama,” someone else admitted.
ALL THE DRAMA
Earlier this week at the It Ends With Us premiere in New York City, Blake was accompanied by her husband Ryan Reynolds, 47, and pal Hugh Jackman, 55.
Many of the cast got in a picture together, but Justin was absent.
However, he did attend the NYC premiere but was pictured either by himself or with his wife Emily.
Throughout the week, Justin appeared on TV shows by himself while Blake appeared with her co-star Brandon Sklenar.
IT ENDS WITH US CAST
It Ends With Us is a movie based on novel of the same name be Colleen Hoover and features a star-studded cast.
Blake Lively – Lily Bloom (also producer)
Brandon Sklenar – Atlas Corrigan
Justin Baldoni – Ryle Kincaid (also director)
Hasan Minhaj – Marshell
Jenny Slate – Allysa
The two also took part in a friendly game of Pictionary to promote the movie.
In the comment section of the video, fans wondered where Justin was.
One wrote, “Where’s Justin? Why Justin hasn’t been involved in the promotion of the movie (not as much as the others).”
“I know Justin is so cool yall are missing him,” another mentioned.
RYAN’S INVOLVEMENT
This week, a source revealed to The Hollywood Reporter a mishap that occurred while on set of the film.
“There was a fracture among the filmmakers in the post-production process, wherein two different cuts of the movie emerged,” the insider said.
Things became clearer when Blake brought in Ryan to write the key rooftop scene, despite one already written by Christy Hall.
Blake dished to E! News, “We help each other. He works on everything I do. I work on everything he does. So his wins, his celebrations are mine and mine are his.”
Due to Blake being a producer of the movie, she had plenty of thoughts on the movie’s creative direction.
It remains unclear if Blake or Justin’s cut made the final edit.
