AN experimental food vlogger has sparked a social media frenzy with his eyebrow-raising food combinations.
Dubbed the “Singapore Foodie”, Calvin Lee has gone viral on the internet after posting hundreds of appalling food combination videos on Instagram.
The list includes cloves of garlic with Coca Cola, chocolate bars with ham and pumpkin soup mixed with Oreo cookies.
But if it makes you feel sick already, wait until you hear about the world’s most disgusting combinations he ever tried.
In one of his most-watched videos, Lee decided to merge the worlds of soup and pizza.
He grabbed a slice of pepperoni pizza, added milk to it along with some herbs and cooked the entire thing till it became a porridge.
However, after he was done cooking, the daring man sat down with a bowl of his newly invented recipe to eat in front of his audience.
And after taking the first bite, Lee said: “It’s edible.”
In another video, the vlogger was seen mixing coffee with sliced onions to make a bizarre concoction.
And he claimed it to be “extremely delicious”.
Despite Lee’s positive responses to all his food experiments, internet users have been left in disgust after watching his weird videos.
But he has so far garnered millions of views, making him one of the top creators in the genre.
Horrified social media users have blasted the food vlogger for his trying the most horrendous food combinations.
One user said: “What in the world made you think this was a good idea?”
While another user wrote: “I can never eat that, not even in my wildest dreams.”
A third person shared: “That food will give me diarrhoea.”
Meanwhile, some of the most bizarre food combinations have now been revealed.
While some people have certainly been creative when it comes to fusing different cuisines together, others haven’t been so fortunate and have ended up putting together some extremely questionable meals.
Among the weirdest food combinations amateur chefs have thought of is a toasted wrap filled with gooey mac n cheese and a gigantic beef burger stacked between two strawberry-glazed doughnuts.
One person considered it perfectly okay to combine dinner with dessert by adding chocolate pieces to their pizza – and while each is delicious on their own, the two should never be combined.
