A HORRIFIED man has revealed how his former lover “ripped off” one of his testicles.
Dennis Parish, 49, needed nine stitches after being mauled in bed by Marie Jeffrey last New Year’s Eve.
Her sickening attack was the culmination of years of drunken violence and jealousy.
Dennis told The Sun on Sunday how he had locked himself in the bedroom when Jeffrey, 49, went for him after being thrown out of their local pub.
As he slept, she battered the door down and clawed between his legs, drawing blood.
Maintenance engineer Dennis, of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leics, said: “I was in absolute agony.
“I looked down and saw she had ripped one of my testicles out. I thought I was going to faint. I needed nine stitches to sort out the damage.”
Jeffrey and Dennis were at school together. They became lovers after she lodged with him in 2019 during her divorce.
Dennis said of the arrangement: “It seemed like a great idea — but I was so wrong.”
He told how she would drink to excess, became jealous and started to attack him.
As Dennis had surgery on his mangled manhood after the attack, Jeffrey was arrested.
At Leicester crown court last month, she admitted GBH and ABH and got a 19-month suspended prison sentence.
She was ordered to pay £400 compensation and is subject to a ten-year restraining order.
Dennis said: “I want to speak out to highlight that men are victims of domestic violence too.
“I am angry with her sentence. If a man had done what she did, he’d be in prison.”
His injuries have healed, but Dennis is scarred by the ordeal.
He said: “I don’t have pain but sometimes discomfort. Mentally, I am not in a great place. It has put me off women for life.”
