Candace Cameron Bure knows it’s “never comfortable” to watch your spouse in kissing scenes, but thankfully she has the fast-forward button to help her out.
The Fuller House alum shared that’s how she spares husband Valeri Bure from having to watch her kiss someone else while she appeared at the first Great American Family Christmas Festival in New York on Sunday, December 15.
“I don’t think it’s as comfortable for anybody – maybe if you’re an actor married to another actor – it’s just never comfortable to watch your spouse in the arms of someone, even though it’s a peck or a kiss or anything,” Candace, 48, told Fox News Digital.

She and friend Danica McKellar admitted they will “fast-forward” or go to a commercial any time those kissing scenes pop up. That’s not to say that Valeri, 50, isn’t supportive of his wife — to whom he’s been married since 1996, and with whom he shares kids Natasha, 26, Lev, 24, and Maksim, 22.
The “Queen of Christmas movies” says her husband is “proud” of all of her projects, and has been “so supportive.” The decision to fast-forward through such scenes came after the two had plenty of conversations.
“We have those honest conversations. He’s like, ‘I don’t really want to watch that part’ and ‘I don’t want to put you through that.’ But … we kind of worked through those feelings to a place where we both feel good and supported through it,” Candace explained.
The Full House alum stars in Home Sweet Christmas, A Christmas Less Traveled, and Let it Snow for the Great American Family network this holiday season, and shared with Fox News Digital how these films have become such a mainstay for her.
“I love making these movies,” she gushed. “I didn’t imagine that 15 years ago when I made my very first one that this would be such a massive genre for so many years.” However, she keeps making them because “people love them.”
Candace shared, “People feel so touched, and they mean something to them, whether it’s a new tradition that they’ve created for their own families or because they watch some of our movies, and they connect in some way that’s meaningful.”
It seems fans have connected to A Christmas Less Traveled — which premiered on November 16 — in which Candace’s character finds a recorded message from her late father. She said fans have called the movie “so touching” and credited it with helping them “through the holidays,” which is all The View alum needed to hear.
“That’s why I keep making them,” Candace said.
