Hoda Kotb Shares Details About Decor in New Suburban Home

Hoda Kotb is thankful that her new suburban home can accommodate her family for special occasions! The Today host detailed what it was like to host her first Thanksgiving at her new place just outside of Manhattan.

“We had a full house. Our very first Thanksgiving at a table that seated every person,” Hoda, 60, told cohost Jenna Bush Hager on Today. “We always sat at a round table that seated five. We set the table. We had real plates. It was really fun.”

The NBC broadcaster went on to say that Thanksgiving was “awesome” and had a huge smile on her face while talking about her new home. She shared photos from the festivities on her Instagram account, revealing what her dining room looks like, as well as sharing a glimpse of the kitchen.

Hoda set up white plates on the dining room table with tan placemats. All of the yummy-looking Thanksgiving dishes were served in white bowls and platters.

Simple white light fixtures hang above the dining room table. The table sits in front of a large window and is surrounded by chairs with light gray cushions and wooden legs.

Balloons were seen in the background in one of the photos of the dining room. Hoda revealed on Today that in addition to spending time with her family on Thanksgiving, they were also celebrating her brother’s birthday.

It seems like she went with a simple and clean white and cream color scheme for her home based on the photos. Fans also got to see a glimpse of some artwork on the walls, which is white with wooden frames, as well as white cabinets in the kitchen and a stainless steel oven.

Hoda’s new place is located in Bronxville, according to the New York Post. Bronxville is a town in Westchester County, New York. And it makes sense that Hoda moved out of the city, considering she will be leaving Today in January 2025.

“I decided that this is the right time for me to kind of move on,” the mom of two explained of her decision for her departure. “And then I thought about it — obviously I had my kiddos late in life, and I was thinking that they deserve a bigger piece of my time pie that I have. I feel like we only have a finite amount of time.”

Craig Melvin was announced as Hoda’s replacement in the early morning hours of Today, officially set to become Savannah Guthrie’s coanchor on January 13. Hoda’s final episode as a Today host will be on January 10.

For Hoda, moving to a new home was the perfect chance to start a new chapter with her daughters, Haley and Hope.

“I want my house for the kids to feel warm and cozy, and a place where they want to hang,” Hoda said of her new digs on Today.

Judging based on the photos she shared on social media, it seems like Hoda achieved just that with her lovely decor. “She’s looking forward to being somewhat of a stay-at-home mom,” an insider told Closer of Hoda’s new life in the suburbs in October.
