There’s ethereal, and then there is Hailee Steinfeld at the 2024 Oscars. The Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse actor arrived on the red carpet in a stunning 2024 spring/summer Elie Saab couture gown, with its layers of gold-embellished, light blue chiffon.

The strapless dress featured glittering, gilded floral details at the bodice, which made way to a goddess-like pleated skirt with several layers of sheer fabric. The gilded leaf motif was repeated at the cuffs, which attached to more swaths of sheer blue chiffon, giving Steinfeld a pair of wings whenever she raised her arms. To complete the gown, the actor wore a long scarf around her neck, letting the tails trail behind her back like a train.
