GOOD Morning Football made a major change to the show on Thanksgiving.
But it came with a warning from Kyle Brandt to his co-star Peter Schrager.
Brandt, Schrager, Jamie Erdahl and Akbar Gbajabiamila all broadcast from the comfort of their own homes.
Schrager said it was the first time they were allowed to be home with family for a Thanksgiving edition of the show.
And he took a trip to Baltimore, Maryland to celebrate the holiday with family.
Schrager revealed he was broadcasting live from his father-in-law’s office.
He likened in to a Baltimore sports museum with memorabilia everywhere.
Co-star Brandt was in his basement in New York.
And he warned Schrager, “Peter, don’t dig too deep into your father-in-law’s office.
“You don’t want to find anything you’re not looking for.”
He followed up by clarifying that his own father-in-law’s office would be full of war memorabilia.
The show aired as normal from 8 am ET until 10 am ET on NFL Network despite it being a public holiday.
The crew kept things as normal as possible despite the major set change.
But there were, of course, Thanksgiving-themed segments.
One of those saw Brandt and Gbajabiamila argue over dinner sides.
Brandt joked on X that he and his co-star were “about to draw swords” in a debate about mashed potatoes or mac and cheese.
And the debate caused social media users to get involved as well.

“Mac N Cheese was never on my Thanksgiving table,” one said.
They continued, “I can have Mac n cheese any day of the week but not on Thanksgiving – that’s just how my family rolls.”
Another fan wrote, “I love how everyone is trying to throw Mac n cheese in there like it belongs, I’ll pass.
“Green bean casserole, potatoes, gravy. Mac was added to try to get kids to eat, let’s be real.”
And a third said, “Mac n cheese is NOT a Thanksgiving food. You cannot have turkey without stuffing.”
