Former MotoGP rider Luca Salvadori, aged 32, has tragically passed away following a road racing incident.
The incident occurred while he was competing in the International Road Racing Championship in Germany. Salvadori sustained multiple injuries during the crash on the Frohburg road circuit and ultimately succumbed to them.
Broncos Racing, Salvadori’s team, confirmed his death through an emotional announcement. They posted to social media:
“With infinite pain we announce the loss of our Luca Salvadori.
“Following an accident on the Frohburg road circuit, the multiple traumas suffered did not allow him to resist and he left us.

Salvadori’s death has deeply affected the racing community and his many fans. Known for his passion and skill on the track, Salvadori had recently shifted his focus to road racing after competing in MotoE. In addition to his achievements in motorcycle racing, he also participated in the Italian Superbike Championship.
