Professional wrestlers put their body on the line weekly in order to give live audiences and viewers at home the best show possible.
While they want to perform as often as possible, sometimes factors get in the way that are out of their control.
Unfortunately, this is the case with a wrestler who was expected to participate in a highly-anticipated match on AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday.
AEW founder Tony Khan took to TikTok for the first time in two years to make a major announcement for tonight’s AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday.
“Ladies and gentlemen, we were planning to have a huge match: Willow Nightingale, the former TBS Champion, taking on Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., the former AEW Women’s World Champion for a shot at the AEW Women’s World Title this Saturday at AEW WrestleDream,” Khan said.
“Unfortunately, Dr. Britt Baker is unable to travel. Britt is very, very sick, and to protect the wrestlers, the fans at ringside, everyone backstage, I think the right thing to do is to replace Britt and give the fans a great match tonight.”
“Instead of seeing Willow Nightingale, the former TBS Champion, taking on a former AEW Women’s World Champion, I’m gonna have Willow Nightingale wrestling three former AEW Women’s World Champions in a four-way match.”
Now, Nightingale is set to face off against Saraya, Nyla Rose, and Jamie Hayter, which may just prove to be her biggest challenge yet.
Here’s hoping Baker makes a quick recovery and makes her way back to the ring soon.

Baker later signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and swiftly became one of its top stars, utilizing her real-life background as a dentist to define her character.
On aug. 13, 2021, Baker defeated Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women’s World Championship. She would hold onto the title for 290 days, the second-longest reign in the championship’s history. She lost the title to Thunder Rosa.
Baker also won the Women’s Owen Hart Cup in 2022, defeating Ruby Soho in the finals.
