THE company currently constructing America’s first bullet train has offered a glimpse into what the train’s interiors may look like when operational.

The multimillion-dollar train sets are set to deploy by 2028, traveling between Southern California and Las Vegas, Nevada.

“A first look at our brand-new #BrightlineWest party car renderings!” the company posted on X.

Brightline West included several renderings of the train’s interior rooms and exterior facade.

“With bold fuchsia interiors and a luxurious vibe, it’s the perfect space to kick back, pop some champagne, and enjoy the ride from Vegas to California in style,” the company wrote, adding a clinking champagne glasses emoji.

“Who’s ready to party on the rails?” the company asked, alongside the hashtag #PartyCar.

Both the train’s interior and exterior renderings had the grandeur of a modern luxury mode of transport.

However, while the train’s exterior appeared sleek and modern, the train’s interior shots captivated social media.

The train’s “party car” looked bright and airy, fixed with plush green and pink seating throughout.

A full bar was decked out in shimmering, nearly reflective paneling, complete with a jaw-dropping backdrop reminiscent of the Mojave Desert and the Sierra Nevada mountains.

Meanwhile, the train’s regular seating option features pairs of clean, modern white seats on each side of a wide center aisle.

The space is also decked out with everyday travel needs including foldable tray tables and cupholders to rotating seats and tables.

First true US ‘bullet train’ finally breaks ground with $12 billion line to bring passengers from LA to Vegas at 186mph

“Being able to travel at 180 mph in a luxurious bar car on your way between Las Vegas and Los Angeles is honestly so much better than anything any airline on this route offers,” wrote Hayden Clarkin, aka The Transit Guy.

Many other social media users agreed with Clarkin’s statement and praised the bullet train’s initial renderings.

“This is simply next level,” one user wrote, alongside a fire emoji.

“I’d happily pay a premium for this,” a second user commented.

Connecting Las Vegas to Southern California

Brightline West calls itself America’s first true high-speed passenger rail system.

The 218-mile passenger rail service will operate from Las Vegas, Nevada, to Rancho Cucamonga, California.

As of 2024, nearly 50 million annual trips occur between LA and Las Vegas.

85% of those trips are by car.

Brightline West expects to serve more than 9 million one-way passengers annually.

Service is estimated to begin in 2028.

Each all-electric, zero-emission train “will be equipped with state-of-the-art amenities.”

Trains will be capable of reaching top speeds of 200 to 220 mph.

A trip from Las Vegas to Rancho Cucamonga will take about 2 hours and 10 minutes.

“Looks super sick,” a third user shared.

Currently under construction, Brightline West is a privately run high-speed rail route.

The route will link the Las Vegas Valley and Rancho Cucamonga in the greater Los Angeles area through the California high desert.

Today, the journey involves an 80-minute plane ride but can take four hours or more by car.

The project broke ground in April 2024, with plans to revolutionize the commute between the two major city hubs.

In total, from planning to execution, the bullet trains will reportedly cost upwards of $12 billion.

However, Brightline isn’t remaining exclusive to the country’s west coast.

Earlier this week, the company also celebrated a major milestone alongside US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

They announced plans for a high-speed train manufacturing plant to be built in upstate New York.

The facility, set to open in Horseheads, New York, will begin producing new electric train cars – designed for speeds of up to 220 mph – in 2026.

“The propulsion system, lighter weight, and aerodynamic shape make it more efficient than other high-speed trains,” Brightline said, as reported by CW affiliate KTLA.

Brightline’s train, dubbed the American Pioneer 220, will be built by hundreds of union workers at the planned 300,000-square-foot facility.

Siemens, a German automotive company chosen to build Brightline’s train sets, is also investing $60 million into the facility.

“Bringing high-speed rail to America is no longer a dream, but a reality,” said Marc Buncher, CEO of Siemens Mobility North America.
