Best Falcons vs. Eagles Same-Game Parlay
Best SGP for ATL vs. PHI: Kirk Cousins Under 227.5 passing yards (-110) + Saquon Barkley Over 18.5 receiving yards (-110) + Jahan Dotson Over 28.5 receiving yards.
Below, we’ll explain why we like each of these legs.
For this three-leg SGP, the +519 odds mean that a $100 bet would yield a $519 payout if everything goes according to plan.
Falcons-Eagles SGP Leg 1: Cousins u227.5 passing yards (-110)
Anyone who watched Atlanta-Pittsburgh in Week 1 shouldn’t be suprised to see a bet on another lackluster showing by Kirk Cousins.
The Eagles don’t have any pass rushers quite like Pittsburgh’s T.J. Watt. At home on MNF, though, the crowd noise is going to be conducive to a good night for Jalen Carter and the Philly defensive line, which have to be salivating after seeing how immobile Cousins was on tape in his team’s loss to Pittsburgh.
It’s possible Cousins just needed a game to knock off some offseason rust after tearing his Achilles in October of 2023, but he did not look remotely comfortable on the move a week ago. It’s hard to imagine the four-time Pro Bowler reverting to form at the Linc on Monday night, just eight days removed from his Falcons debut.
Barring a massive week-to-week improvement in his mobility, Cousins will not have time to push the ball downfield. If that’s indeed the case, a sub-200-yard passing night feels like a slam-dunk.
Falcons-Eagles SGP Leg 2: Barkley o18.5 receiving yards (-110)
Barkley was a solid receiving threat as a Giant from 2018-23 before he joined Philadelphia, and that was on a New York offense that rarely featured good quarterback play or legitimate complementary weapons to Barkley.
Barkley feels like a safe bet to be a big part of the Philadelphia passing attack this year. While he was only targeted twice against Green Bay in Week 1, he turned those looks into two catches for 23 yards and a TD.
With A.J. Brown sidelined, expect Hurts to look Barkley’s way plenty against Atlanta. The veteran Falcons secondary is capable of forcing Hurts into a number of checkdowns, especially in these circumstances. We’d feel comfortably taking Barkely to get to at least 19 yards receiving even if Brown were healthy, so we’re all over this prop tonight.
Another reason to like Barkley to be active as a receiver out of the backfield is the fact that Atlanta will be without starting linebacker Nate Landman. With Landman on the bench, the Falcons top two LBs will be Troy Andersen (who has just seven career starts under his belt) and Kaden Elliss.
Falcons-Eagles SGP Leg 3: Dotson o28.5 rec. yards (-110)
Dotson, a third-year receiver who was drafted by Washington at No. 16 overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, moved from the Commanders to the Eagles via a trade back in training camp.
We’re trusting Hurts to spread the ball around with Brown unavailable, so much so that we like not only Barkley, but also Dotson to step up for the Eagles on Monday night.
Dotson did not record a catch in Week 1, but he played 32 of Philadelphia’s 76 snaps (42 percent), and that was with both Brown and rookie Johnny Wilson on the field. Wilson is questionable on Monday after missing practice on Saturday.
Whether Wilson suits up or not, Dotson should get a few targets from Hurts, who looked Dotson’s way once in Week 1. Dotson has enough speed that one reception or two in his first home game as an Eagle could be all he needs to cash this prop.
Talented Atlanta corner A.J. Terrell will likely be assigned to Philly’s DeVonta Smith, which is good reason to back the receptions and/or yardage props for complementary Philly receivers like Barkley and Dotson in this game.
